Here are just a few ways we live that out:
KidsPack (Every First Sunday, School Year)
We gather as a church to pack meals for children in our city who face food insecurity. It’s simple, tangible, and deeply meaningful. Every bag packed helps ensure a child has something to eat when they’re not in school.
Letters to Teachers (Every Last Sunday, School Year)
We take time each month to write personal, encouraging letters to educators at Lakeland Highlands Middle, Oscar J. Pope Elementary, and Southwest Middle School. It’s one small way we help carry the weight they shoulder each day.
Meals for Teachers
We celebrate and serve the educators in our city by providing breakfast and lunch throughout the year. Whether it’s a welcome back, a mid-year lift, or a moment of celebration, we want them to know they’re seen and appreciated.
Sports Clinics
From basketball to volleyball, we host skills clinics that give middle school students a fun and safe space to grow—not just as athletes, but as people.
Presence on Campuses
We don’t just show up for events. Our team spends regular time on school campuses each week, offering practical support and personal care for students and school staff alike.
Resources for School Events
We provide raffle prizes, gift cards, and other resources to help support school celebrations and special events. It’s one more way we say, “We’re with you.”
